Via 60 Second Docs/FacebookWomen who have had breast cancer and a mastectomy just need to feel whole after their long trip back to wellness.Unfortunately, a lot of women lose their nipples during their mastectomy surgeries based on just how their cancer spread and doctor’s discretion.This leaves women with the choice of getting no nipple, their skin shaped into a projection which resembles a breast feeding, or using an areola grafted in the skin on other parts of their body.Tattoo artist Vinnie Myers of Finksburg, Maryland is using his great skills to assist breast cancer survivors feel complete again by giving them areola tattoos.

“The girls want to look like they did before their mastectomies,” Myers says in the video.

Myers perfectly mixes each color so that it compliments the woman’s skin tone and uses 3-D effects to make it look as if the nipple is protruding on their chest. According to Myers, the tattoos are permanent and will continue to keep their colour, unlike such as the tattooing techniques utilized from the surgeon’s office.To the naked eye, his tattoos look exactly like normal nipples.”Our intention is to give them three-dimensional looking areolas.
